The University of Lagos (UNILAG) in conjunction with The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), is inviting every student of the University of Lagos to her "Youth Votes Count" Voters Education Outreach, which is to hold at the J. F. Ade-Ajayi Auditorium, on Wednesday, June 27, 2018.

This youth outreach is rooted with the aim of mobilising youths. Especially the first-time voters, to exercise their franchise by registering and voting in the impending 2019 General Elections. It is also focused on a continuous voter registration.

During this outreach, students will be given the opportunity to collect their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) between 8AM - 3PM that day. This expressly depicts the university's enthusiasm towards educating it's students on the importance of voting in an election.
Time for this outreach is 8AM - 12PM
Panellists: Omotola Jalade-Ekehinde, Ayo “AY” Makun, Helen Paul amongst others.
It also worthy to note that this outreach is facilitated by the Centre for Social Research and Advocacy (CSRA) of the University of Lagos.
