Does UNN admit aspirants that make them a second choice?

This is probably the most prevalent question aspirants of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), seek answer to. And if you are actually here for that same reason, then you shouldn't panic because I am going to expressly give an answer to that question.

First of all, you must know that there is absolutely no university in Nigeria, that says they don't give admission to aspirants that make them a second choice. So, you don't expect me to say a yes or no, as regards to the above question. However, the most tentative way to give an answer to this question, is to review the way they offer admission to their aspirants, and by that way the question as to whether UNN admit aspirants that make them 2nd choice will be answered.

The University Of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), is one of the most competitive university in Nigeria. The University often have about 10,695 aspirants every year, and this notwithstanding, has made the school to increase its cutoff mark to a very high value, so as to reduce the number of students that apply every year.

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), did not in anyway say that they won't give admission to aspirants that make them 2nd choice. But obviously, with the number of students that apply for the University every year, it will be very difficult if not impossible to get admitted if you make UNN your second choice. However, I won't circumvent the fact that it sometimes happens. But believe me, that will be a flash in the pan occurrence.

In conclusion, i have said that UNN accept students that make them 2nd choice, but that seldom happens. In fact, I recommend every aspirant who has UNN as a second choice, to quickly go for a change of course, if you really want to study there. At least, to make your chance of admission more consolidated. Hope this answers your question? Thank you.
